Photos from Mac to iPhone

Hi,

I have around 40 GB of photos and videos on my Mac. I don’t want to use iCloud for that.

Now how do I transfer this to my new iPhone? iTunes is not offering me to synch photos anymore?

Probably iCloud Photos has become enabled on your iPhone. In that case iTunes syncing will be disabled for Photos. Check the Settings > Your Name > iCloud > Photos on your iPhone.

If you want to sync the photos with iTunes, you need to disable iCloud Photos on your iPhone. The second half of this document explains, how iTunes Photo Sync should be working for you:
