Using AOL on iOS 12

I upgraded my iPhone 7 to iOS 12 today and AOL stopped working shortly after. I deleted and have attempted to remake the account but it doesn't work. I've tried clicking on the AOL option and setting it up that way, which leads backs to the email options screen when verifying. I've tried to do it manually but I get a prompt saying that my username / password is incorrect.


How do I solve this? I've been googling the issue and haven't found a solution that works yet.

This is most likely due to your AOL account and your security settings. Log in to your account and be sure that access for "less secure" apps is enabled.
