Font size too small on brand new iMac 27

How to change the font size on the menu bar so that it is readable when using Mojave OS. Boy this iMac has been a major non upgrade never again!!!

The only way to change the menu bar font size is to change the display resolution. Hold the option key when clicking System Preferences > Display > Scaled button.
