watch locked

All that will show up on my watch is a red charging sign and the time. It will not turn off. When I put it on the charger it turns to green charging sign and time. Any ideas?

Try resetting your watch...……..Press the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both. Then charge it.

I have my watch on charger. Black screen. When I push the side button I get a series of lines with a green light. Nothin else. This watch is just a year old and I have not worn it due to staying home. watch not working on charger
