I have a number of voicemails that i have tried to delete. I've done it from the voice mail and the call list and even deleting them all at once. I've re-booted my phone but each time I delete the voice mail it reappears seconds later.
How do I get rid of them?
I have been dealing with this same issue as you. Let me guess, you have Verizon, correct?
I reached their Tier2 support today, and they had me call *86 to reach my voicemails from there. It turns out their server had 14 of my voicemails being saved, and that's why after I tried every method I could find on the internet for deleting these voicemails, they would always flood back into my voicemail app within minutes of being deleted. I dialed into *86 and deleted my voicemails from there. Then went back into the voicemail app on the iphone and deleted. Problem solved. They have not reappeared since. Seems like there is a glitch where the iphone isn't always talking with Verizon or vice versa

Voicemail is a carrier feature. If it's not working correctly, contact your carrier.

I understand from your post that you're trying to delete some voicemails but they keep coming back. I am happy to help you.
Open the Phone app on the your phone and tap on the “Voicemail” tab.
Swipe left across the voicemail message to get the red “Delete” button when it appears, then tap on that to delete the message.
If this wasn't the method you were using let me know what you were doing to delete the voicemails and we'll go from there.
