As a newbie to Mac systems I need to find a template to use for my duties as Treasurer of a local club.
Simple Income and Expenditure record with columns for various categories.
Any suggestions?
Since numbers opens excel files, you can use almost any excel file for use in numbers, as long as it is not using macros or advanced formulas. You are not restricted to just using a file made for numbers or macs. Google Club treasurer spread sheet and you should find plenty of matches.

Also, if your club is part of a larger organization (Lions clubs, Masons, etc...) you can ask around at other partner clubs and ask them for established workbooks.
After running something as simple as a Cub Scout pack for many years (too long ago to still have anything, sorry) the personal template didnt work for our needs, we had to write something from scratch that handled individual boys dues in and expenditures out, fund raisers, etc....

Recommend having a look at the excellent 'Personal Budget' template at File > New in your menu. It (unlike many Excel templates) is already optimized for Numbers and can easily be adapted to club use.
