How to remove a distance goal in outdoor run
There’s now a distance goal on my outdoor runs that I didn’t intentionally add. I cannot figure out how to remove it and make it say “open goal” again. Any help is much appreciated.

In the Workout app, find the workout you want to edit (in this case, outdoor run) and tap the three dots at the top of the workout. From here, you can set the goal to be based on calories, distance, time, or open. Tap “Open” and you’ll be set!
That’s odd. I want able to get the same result on my Watch. At this point, it’s probably best to contact Apple Support.
No. It’s still there. Am I misunderstanding?
If I follow those steps on my watch, when I click on “open” it simply starts a new run workout. I can’t digure out what I’m doing wrong.
It will immediately start a new workout with an open goal, and should have that goal as the default for future workouts.
