Help! Alerts Buzzers - Red Flag Warnings: Virus Name: Tapsnake; CronDNS; Dubfishicv

Scared the crap out of me ... It had the Apple Logo, so i kept agreeing to whatever ...

finally said "Virus Name: Tapsnake; CronDNS; Dubfishicv Risk: HIGH Infected Files: /os/apps/hidden/os-component/X/snake.icv; /os/local/conf/keyboard/retype.icv...

so i downloaded Maccleaner.pkg .. then i got this screen shot below ...

when i click 'clean now' they want me to sign up for McAffee Security ... so now i am suspicious .

What do i do ?

so i downloaded Maccleaner.pkg 


What you do is delete this meretricious piece of junk and go on with your life. This app, and all the similar ones, exists solely to separate the unwary from their hard-earned cash. Never install any app that claims to 'clean', 'tune up' or 'optimise' your Mac. They are all junk.
