Adobe makes the software. CS5 was no longer supported by Adobe after 10.6.8, Adobe will not support the software on line, over the phone or any other way

It is an incompatibility problem between the software and the platform.

I can suggest the following in order of if (1) fails go to (2), etc.

(1) Make sure your printer drivers are compatible with 10.14

(2) try resetting your print system and reinstall the printers

(3) try a clean install of adobe CS5 after removing all previous components

(4) downgrade to a previous version of OS X, which can only be done on a blank partition or by wiping your primary hard drive of all date. In any event have a backup.

Adobe ended product development and testing of CS5 years ago. Apple has no responsibility for Adobe applications, or your reluctance to use Adobe products fully tested and recommended by Adobe for Mojave. That leaves a rather large gap analysis crater of hope that other fellow users have a trick for getting CS5 working properly on Mojave either.

Your options:

  1. Run Photoshop CS5 on an older release of OS X where it functions properly
  2. Look at minimal cost, application replacement possibilities that are non-subscription (e.g. Affinity Designer, etc.) that are in active development, and supported on Mojave and later.
  3. Adobe subscription to Photoshop 2019.
