caculator

i do my schooling online , and i was using my calculator for a math problem & it kept giving me the answers i knew were wrong so i asked Siri the same problem and she told me the correct answer which was TOTALLY different from what the calculator had told me. i just was wondering how i can fix this.

That's because you're not entering it right. If you it the - key, that does NOT make the number negative. It indicates a subtraction operation.

Enter the number (9) then hit the +/- key to make it negative, then hit the division key, then the number (2) and press the +/- key to make it a negative, then hit =.

That's how calculators work.
