If you can‘t hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound isn‘t clear on your iPhone

Hi wil53, I had the same problem. There are lots and lots of discussions on this topic on this forum and elsewhere. In short: your phone is broken (hardware) and you need to replace it. That's how it is.. Erik

Hi, the test to see if your phone is broken is to start the app Voice Memos. It's an app that came with your phone. When you start up that app and phone comes back with 'no audio devices found' - then your phone is broken. Otherwise might be software issue. Hope you are lucky.. Erik

Sometimes you need to adjust the sound while using the app giving you trouble

or restart your phone to see if that fixes it
