Macbook Pro logs out every time I close it.

Since I upgraded to Mohave 10.14.3, my MacBook Pro has been acting strangely. Every time I close it, it logs out. Then, when I open it, it has a dimly lit bluish/black screen. I have to hold down on the power button to shut down, turn it on again and log back in. Help! It never did this until the upgrade.

Macbook Pro 2012 wont shut down after Mojave upgrade I recently upgraded my Macbook Pro to Mojave and it was working fine until I tried to turn it off. The screen went black with a grey spinning wheel and it fails to turn off. The usb mouse keeps working, so it is not turning the power off properly. I would really appreciate if someone has any solution to this problem. I know that turning it off manually is not good on the long run.

Macbook air 10.13.6 not shutting down or reseting. If i try in any way to shut it down or reset it, nothing happens. It just closes the programs and stays on.
