The keyboard on my iPad 9.7 2018 does not have a mic for dictation. It have searched under general, keyboard, accessible, privacy and the internet found no help. The only way I can dictate a text message is using siri. Thanks for any help.

Have you by any chance downloaded any 3rd party keyboards? If you have delete it and then see if the enable dictation button returns.
Don't you have Enable Dictation as an option at the very bottom of the settings > general > keyboard page?
Try selecting a different keyboard, then reselect Querty and see if the microphone option comes back in settings.
try getting rid of everything on your keyboard list except the English provided by apple and restart your ipad.
You need to get rid of that 3rd party keyboard and replace it by the apple one.

Thank you Sir! I used the add keyboard function and moved it above the pro keyboard.
No Sir,when I go to general, keyboard I have Keyboards & Text replacement. Then there are 8 listings with on/off switchs and there are none that say "enable dictation". The last selection is ("." shortcuts)

I have, but I didn't have the mic before I downloaded the emoji and swift keyboards. It have deleted them. Scan shot of keyboard.
