mac says out of space but 92 gb are free

so my computer keeps telling me insufficient disk space and when i go to upload photos it tells me i need more space... but when i go to "manage this mac" it says i have 92.25 gb free and i've already optimized my icloud storage so most of the photos and files are stored there.

how do i fix this??

i have 2 tb of space on my cloud of which only about 400 gb is taken at the moment. and 40 gb of that is showing on my harddrive as "icloud" use.

I'm not sure where to check my drive space, i see the picture- just not sure where to go to get that info.

when i go to the finder, manage, and then storage, it says 91 gb of 250 gb is available on my mac hd

I'm not sure if this is even possible, but i have a crazy person in my life who steals my trash and has a PI watch me, could he be hacking into my computer too? could this be a result of this.... I'm sure this sounds so crazy, but I put nothing past this person... They have a ton of time and money to do crazy things.

I'm not sure what i should be looking for- but here are the last 20 or so things within the console

No they didn't have physical access to my computer (that i know of), and i don't mean to bring this up on an apple support community. just not sure if there is any correlation.

but the person is very tech savvy and has a business all around tech, so i'm not sure its impossible for them to do this..

do you think mtlcompiler service is the issue?

I REALLY appreciate all your help and guidance, its very kind of you.
