I just received a recorded phone call advising me not to use my iPhone due to fraudulent activity

I just received a recorded phone call advising me not to use my iPhone due to fraudulent activity reported and to speak with Apple support right away or call them back at 1-888-491-*****. I have never received a call like this before. Please advise if this is legitimate?
