Iphone XS max Contact merged with another?

So i have a iphone XS max, and I recently noticed that two different individual contacts were linked. Meaning for example, Sally and Donna. I had both Sally's work and personal on the phone, however for some reason Donna's was some how linked to Sally's name without me having Donna's work number. I received a text from Donna one day but it came up as Sally's name. I went to try and change it but it says that I have 2 - Sally's in my phone even though both of the contacts have the same numbers. I tried to delete it as well, but it will not let me delete the contact as there is no delete contact under the edit section of the contact.

Please help, as I do use my phone for work.
