Mac OS Server migration to 5.7.1

Currently I was running a web server on mac mini OS Yosemite

using server version 4.1. I purchased a new mac mini and was force to upgraded to

server 5.7.1. The new server does not have the functionality of the old one. I

need figure out how to migrate the webserver information over for running an

internal site for munki, jenkin, etc. Any tools or ideas on how to easily do

this? It seems like many things have changed even the folder structures.

Any information can help.

There is no migration path. Not really. You’ll be rolling your own server environment atop macOS.

Apple has some pointers (see below) to what can be selected, and that you can then maintain and integrate and update.

Bluntly, I’d seriously consider installing Linux or BSD on this Mac, and not bother with macOS for web and related services.

Or I’d scrounge a Mac that can run High Sierra until I could migrate else-platform, but getting the older versions of Server.app has gotten more difficult, if you don’t already have copies available locally.

But... if you want to use Mojave and “Server.app”, here’s a start on your adventure...
