Airplay problem

My iPad suddenly can’t connect to my HomePod even though the HomePod is turned on and operating satisfactorily otherwise. How can I reconnect the HomePod?

A few things you can try


reset network settings in iPad

make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID on iPad and HomePod,

unplug your wifi router and modem for about a minute , plug back in


unplug the homepod

Lastly, reset HomePod
