Quicktime crashes on Mohave

My quicktime v10.5 running on Mohave 10.14.3 crashes when I open it.


How do I reinstall Quicktime??

The way to reinstall QuickTime, is to reinstall the operating system, as it is integral part of it.

I doubt the issue is with the QuickTime software itself though, as issues are more likely with preference files and 3rd party software.
