I have decided to downgrade my icloud storage to the standard free 5GB. I don't want to store my photos in icloud anymore since I am storing them elsewhere. So I want to delete the photos and videos from the cloud so that I am only backing up mail, calendar, notes, reminders, and apps. How do I delete the photos and videos from icloud?
Delete them in the photos app. That will delete them from iCloud as well. This is assuming that you are using iCloud Photos on your devices. When you delete a photo on one device, it is deleted everywhere.
Check your recently deleted album as well and empty that.
