How do I copy a playlist to a USB?

I'd like to copy a playlist to a memory stick so that I can play it in my car (yes, old school technology). The music I want to copy is music that I own--I've either purchased it outright from Apple, or I've uploaded it to my computer from CD. The only option I see is to create a CD from a playlist. I am using iTunes in Windows 8.

Windows, Windows 6

You will need to copy the actual music files to the USB drive.

Open up windows explorer to your USB drive. In iTunes, select the playlist you want and highlight all the songs. Then you can drag the songs onto the USB drive and it will copy them over.

Otherwise you can do it manually with Windows. Find your music, usually located in C:\Users\<user>\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music, and drag/drop whatever you want from there into your USB drive.
