You may find a local authorized service with Apple trained technicians who
could repair (or get official parts from authorized sources) ~ these could cite
or estimate the cost for parts; and labor, if they only sell a full service repair.
The information (EMC No.) shown in your thread suggests different models
than this MacBook section in ASC discussion, relates to. ~ I see (3) iMac 2011
in the list by EMC among other #s in the Everymac.com page linked below:
https://everymac.com/systems/by_capability/mac-specs-by-emc-number.html
IF you can use the 'everymac identify by serial number' to narrow your exact
product, you could use that information to correctly ask service/parts source:
EveryMac.com's "Ultimate Mac Lookup" https://everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup/
The above Lookup page did not find EMC, which was visible in search before it.
To narrow search try "Mac Serial Number Info - Lookup your Apple Serial Number"
https://www.powerbookmedic.com/identify-mac-serial.php
{..Please do not post identifiers of your product in the community discussions..}
• Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple
https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/
Perhaps you could get a free evaluation and estimate (if not too old) by contacting
Apple for genius appointment. They do not sell parts, but some referrals they may
have, could discuss the repair cost and parts availability with you. Small independent
service providers may be able to help. ~ Perhaps though use of good but used parts;
an independent shop could give you estimates on parts, and also labor.
Products more than 4 or 5 years would find 'full service' sparse from official Apple perspective.
But when or if you talk to Apple support staff in Retail store, they will tell 'what vintage' they'll fix.
