Can I restart my phone and restart a backup and not lose progress?

I’m doing a massive backup of about 220GB to switch phones, I think it’s close based on my iCloud storage increase but the estimated time remaining seems very unreliable - 5 hours then 7 and no change overnight while backing up.

im wondering it it needs a reset (typical IT troubleshooting) but I’m afraid I’ll lose progress - will it pick up where it left off?
