imessages using email address instead of number
my imessage is using an email instead of number. this just happened when I did the last update on my ipad and mac

Hello.
On your iPad, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Then look for the "Start new conversations from" section. Select the one you want to use, and all new conversations should start from that.
