ADJUSTING THE MARGINS IN NUMBERS IN MAC

on the top left side of the sheet where the columns are named as A, B, C so on and rows are named as 1,2,3, so on.. there is blue coloured circle. select that blue circle and move it left or right to increase or decrease your left margin. do not worry if the content of the rows or columns happen to reduce or hide as that will not affect the print output.

the blue circle is the handle you use to move the table around.

The margins are set in the print setup. To get to the print set up, select the Numbers menu item "File > Print…" (or use the key combination <command> + p).

then adjust the settings by opening the "Print Setup Formatter":

Hi Meriruh,

Welcome to Numbers for Mac!

Here is Print Preview where Numbers has automatically scaled everything (to 68%) to fit on one page. That is good, but it may be difficult to read when printed.

Here is Print Preview where I turned off Fit and manually set the Content Scale to 100%

You may find more joy if you move (Cut and Paste) objects to other sheets to create a pleasing presentation / printout.

Please keep posting in this forum.

Regards,

Ian.
