retrieving deleted messages/ consolidate chat transcript

ive deleted conversation iMessage window by accident

I've done all the back ups and stuff suggested online but it doesn't help.

I would like the entire chat to be in one window as before but I have a million message/windows dating back to 2016, and I am unable to read messages in order/ have the entire conversation places back in iMessage.

I find the messages in chat transcript in a lot of separate folders

iMessage no longer keeping chat archive? Hello all! So for long as I can remember iMessage on Mac always had a option to keep your messages in an archive, even if you deleted the actual conversation thread itself. I could delete a message and when I started it back up or that person messaged me it would bring back the entire conversation previous. Now when I delete a message, it's gone. When I go to my archive folder in the library which would normally house my messages, its completely empty. Like not even my current messages that are still open are there. so iMessage is not archiving anything. What am I missing?

delete messages in macOS version of messages In iOS and iPadOS I can select several conversations and delete them all easily. In macOS I can only do one at a time. Talk about a PITA. Or, please tell me I'm missing something!

How to export an entire iMessage conversation? And where are they stored anyways? I've been looking for solutions to export over a years worth of conversations from iMessage and just can't find a way to manage it. I can't make it through the entire conversation to select each one and export to pdf or even scroll the whole way up to the beginning of the conversation to export it. How can I export this? All with one individual. Also, where are the iMessages stored in my iCloud?ÇÇÇ
