EarPhones don’t work at well.

When I insert the earphones in the lightning door they go crazy(but only when i touch them, probably it’s an hardware problem). The audio player goes crazy and skip songs or activates siri. Is another EarPhonesGate?

Are my wired earphones permanently broken? Ok so basically, my wired Apple earphones were working fine up until about a month ago. When plugged into my Samsung phone, they would cause the Google Assistant to randomly start constantly, and they would also cause my music to pause randomly as well. I didn't know if it was the phone or the earphones but now I am positive its the earphones, as I have been using them on my MacBook, and they have been causing Siri to randomly open, causing the video I am watching to randomly pause/unpause, and causing Apple Music to randomly open. This is really annoying but I don't want to buy new earphones, is there a way to fix this? The earphones have no visible damage on them.

Earphone issue where song randomly play, , stop and Siri randomly activated So with my EarPods that came with my iPhone 8, songs will start randomly playing, when using YouTube videos skip and pause. However when I use some standard headphones, keep in mind there are no button controls on the headphones, I just receive a ticking noise every 1 second (using the adapter)Is there a problem with my phones internals, or I’m I just choosing wrong ear/headphones?

Check the charging port for lint or other debris and see this:

Use Apple headphones with your iPhone, iPad, and iPod

If your headphones don‘t work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
