iCloud storage

Hey! I am paying 0.99 a month for what I thought was more storage on my phone but I keep getting notifications that I don’t have enough storage? Why would this be if I pay every month for more? Thanks.

That would be iCloud storage - increased online storage for your iCloud account. Every free iCloud account includes 5GB free storage, and there are subscription plans for more. See https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201238 and https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204247

there is no way to increase the physical storage built into your iOS device.
