Mail preferences

Hello,

When I select Mail preferences, all I get is the attached window pop up. Does anyone have an idea as to what may be wrong?

ok.

So back in your original account...

Can you path to your user Library

Firstly, remove the email accounts (assuming you have any in there) and quit Apple Mail

  1. Go to Finder
  2. Select the Go menu item at the top
  3. Select Go to Folder
  4. Type in ~/Library/Containers
  5. Move the folder called com.apple.mail to trash (don't delete the trash just yet though)
  6. Try opening Apple Mail again
  7. See if you can open the presences now. If so...
  8. Add the Email account to Apple Mail via preferences > Accounts.

Give that a go and lets see what happens

Hi.

I have seen this before with signatures and the there may be ways to get to the bottom of it, however the fasted solution might be to remove the whole account the set it up again.

System Preferences > Internet Accounts > Remove the account (press the "-") > Sign back in again.

Assuming the account details do show up in Internet accounts.
