Facetime Restriction Iphone X AH/A

Hi,

Planning on purchasing an iphone x which has the model MQAD2AH/A. Its not too clear on the forum that AH/A has no restrictions on facetime worldwide? Multiple Apple representatives from chat support have said facetime will not work outside the middle east region.

Will appreciate any confirmation from folks who are using this particular model number outside the middle east.
