Cannot burn a playlist to CD. Gets 1/2 to 3/4 way through and stops giving an error message.

Hey jeffreyj.,

I see you're having some trouble burning a playlist to disc, so I wanted to reach out with a few articles that may prove helpful. First off, would you mind double-checking just to be certain the process is being executed properly? I ask because sometimes steps may change as newer versions of iTunes are released, so it's entirely possible something else is required now that you're not familiar with: Create CDs and DVDs in iTunes on Mac - Apple Support

If everything there is being done properly, have a look here for some common problems and how to resolve them: Problems burning a disc in iTunes on Mac - Apple Support

You may have better luck using right-click > Burn Playlist to Disc from the playlist name in the sidebar over File > Burn Playlist to Disc. It may help to reduce burn speed to something below the maximum suggested. Or it could be a general problem with your drive. Try burning from Windows Explorer for example. Might pay to test with some erasable discs.

I tried what you recommended, but still does not work. It's the same problem I had at the end of 2018 and iTunes came out with a fix and it worked! Now all of a sudden, it is doing the same thing again. What's the general problem you are suggesting with my drive? Thank you for the help! Hate to have to call Support. Error message I get is OxCOAA0301.
