How do I “Undo” and “Redo” Changes on an iPhone?

Undo and Redo and Clipboard

Mac OS X versus iOS

Often enough, I’m chatting and compiling eMails on my iPhone, and I have to undo something. I might have to redo something, but not as often.

So, how do I undo an automatic spelling correction on my iPhone?

In comparison, on my Mac, its Comnand + Z to undo something. But is there a button to press or a key to tap on my iPhone to undo actions and access a clipboard?

Is there a clipboard to use when copying and pasting things ion an iPhone?

There is no command Z on the iOS of course, you can simply have to redo it and close out the suggestion if a correction is erroneous.

Here's how to undo or redo typing on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. To undo or redo something you've typed, copied, deleted, just shake your iPhone, and you'll get a popup saying Undo Typing, with an Undo and a Cancel button. If you paste text and then shake your device, the alert will say Undo Paste.
