Hi I'm new in the community so sorry if this was already addressed. My issue is I got a new iMac running High Sierra and hooked up an external drive that was once used with my Windows 7 machine. There are hidden folders on it that I made and now need to access. Unfortunately my windows machine is no more so I can't hook the drive to it and unhide the files. Any suggestions? Thanks

As for as I know typically Shift command . reveal/hides hidden files in macOS.
that is to say the shift command period keys

Pressing ⌘> in Finder.app toggles the display of hidden files, if that was what was done here.
