Accessing hidden folders in Mac OS that were created in windows

Hi I'm new in the community so sorry if this was already addressed. My issue is I got a new iMac running High Sierra and hooked up an external drive that was once used with my Windows 7 machine. There are hidden folders on it that I made and now need to access. Unfortunately my windows machine is no more so I can't hook the drive to it and unhide the files. Any suggestions? Thanks

I cannot believe I didn't know that keyboard shortcut. Wow.

I just reported it as missing from the list of shortcuts.

The ⇧⌘./⌘> toggle has been around since at least Snow Leopard, if not earlier.
