Red Line over the Solo Button.

How do I remove this command? Very annoying as when you solo a single Chanel you are Left with other parts still playing.

You control-click that button to remove that red strikethru. It means that channel strip is solo-safe - it will NOT be muted when you solo another channel.

Solo won't disable Solo won't disable, Going to Mix, Delete Automation doesn't work. Solo isn't selected on the track neither so it is not a question of deselecting it on the track either. It has never happened before, but I have created two projects using templates and in those two projects I have the same problem.

You have solo-safe enabled. Disable it by ctrl-clicking the solo-button.
