Dock

Hi, I can't remove files or applications from dock. There is no "Remove from dock" button when I click by 2 fingers on the symbols. I can't drag that app out of the dock to remove it or move the app's position. And I also can't change some of the dock's setting.

I cannot remove applications from the dock When I try to drag them out, it does NOT work, I have tried previously making sure that the application that I wanted to remove was not running, nor open, but I am still unable to do this. Every time I try to remove the application that I want, it does nothing.

Dock Why can't I move any applications to my dock? I have tried dragging and dropping from my finder. I have also tried opening the application, clicking on it in the dock and using the options feature.

Prevent Apps from staying in dock I'm looking for the solution for years, seriously, but still no success. So the question is quite simple: I don't want to have an app icon in the dock after it's closed. Ever. Is it possible? I know about "Show recent applications in dock" setting it's recommended in each 2nd post about this problem. But it's not exactly what I need. Some inactive icons still in the dock. So again the question. How to remove app icons from dock forever after the app is terminated?

Already tried to click on an icon in the dock, keep clicking on it and it drag to the middle of the screen until you get the announcement 'disappear' or 'remove' or something like that. If you then stop clicking on it, it has disappeared
