Macbook pro 2018 freezes when shut down

So, I just turned off my Macbook pro 2018, but noticed that the keyboard is still lit up. Meaning: it isn’t completely turned off. So as I closed my macbook and opened it again, to see if my Macbook would turn on or not, to see if it’s really shut down, it doesn’t turn on. But when I put in the charging cable, it did give the charging sound. So my Macbook is half shut down, half not shut down and I can’t do anything with it now and can’t completely shut it down with the power button because the touch bar is shut down. Is there anything I can do about this?

You can hold that touchID button for an extended amount of time say ~8-10 secs to force a shut down.

ReBoot into Recovery (Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities>  Disk Utility> run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD. If errors are found and repaired, run again until no errors reported.
