How do I disable the shutter sound on my iPhone Xs? I want it to be silent when I take a photo.

You can disable the shutter sound 1 of 4 ways:

1) Turn mute off/on using the Ring/Silent switch on the side of your iPhone. (The mute function is disabled in some countries.)

2) Use the down volume button on the side of the phone.

3) In Control Center turn the volume slider to off.

4) Lastly, in the Camera App, turn on Live Photos, that's the 2nd icon in at the top of the screen. Grey is Off, yellow is On. If you don't want Live Photos, then use methods 1, 2 or 3.
