2007's are too old to have recovery; you will need your original install disks. FWIW, what is "24 1432"??
Here are all the models introduced in 2007:
https://everymac.com/systems/by_year/macs-released-in-2007.html
And here is the list of Macs that could be upgraded to recovery:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202313
So, if yours is not on this list, you will need either your install disks, boot from another source, clone back a bootable clone you have on an external drive, or purchase a Snow Leopard disk from Apple (which is Snow Leopard:

And, lastly, did you format the new hard drive? You will need to do that first (you can do that while booted into another source).

I have a 24 1432 2007 iMac.
I try booting the disc the computer came with
now it is stuck at the apple logo with the spinning wheel.
What model iMac do you have? It sounds like it may be an older iMac. Do you happen to have the original Install DVD's that came with it?
This article explains the various macOS recovery options. Try booting using the various options listed in the document to see if any work on your system. If you cannot boot into macOS Recovery mode please provide more detailed information about your iMac.
