Apple Watch Activity - Red ring decreasing

I’m having an issue with my red ring suddenly losing 200 calories it had tracked, usually within 10-20 minutes of finishing a workout. For example, yesterday when I finished my workout I was at 1240 calories on the red ring. When I was getting ready to shower, it was at 1040 all of a sudden. I hit the treadmill again to get above my goal of 1110 and everything was good. Today I woke up and looked at yesterday, it says I was only at 1090.

Today when I finished my workout I was at 850. After about 20 minutes I was down to 650. Based off where I was at before the workout, and what the Workout app says I burned, 850 should be the correct number.

What’s weird is that the people I’m sharing with see the larger number when they look at my activity. Yesterday my wife still shows me at 1250, even though my app shows me at 1090. Same for today, she shows me at 850 while mine still shows 650.

Anyone else had this issue or know what I can do to troubleshoot this?

I figured it out. I was running the Peloton app at the same time, and allowing it to write to my active calories. My workout would finish and log in the native Workout app, then Peloton would overwrite it shortly after. Disabling Peloton’s write access resolved the issue.
