iPhone storage full Notification

I have a 32GB, iPhone 7 Plus and available space is around 12GB even after that there is a constant bar in the settings 'iPhone storage full'.

This happened when the storage was full nearly about 31GB but I deleted the unwanted apps and data and since then the used storage is around 20GB but storage full bar is still there in the settings.

How can I remove that bar from the settings?

P.S - iCloud storage is at 75% capacity. So this is also not an iCloud notification.

Hi karan214,

It looks like you're getting a notification about your iPhone storage, and I want to help.

What are you seeing on the next page when you tap on the option with the badge? Is there a set of recommendations to follow?

We can also try restarting your iPhone now that you've cleared space:

Hey karan214,

It sounds like you've cleared plenty of space and have tried a lot of good steps to solve this issue.

We'd like to ensure you have a backup for your device before continuing. Please take a look at these articles and verify a backup:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

After doing a backup, we can try to reset your settings. This will clear several preferences like your ringtones, Home screen layout, saved Wi-Fi and VPN.

To complete the reset that could clear this notification, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

Let me know if that helps.

Hi karan214,

Thanks for taking those steps.

The last thing we can try to resolve any software issues you might be having is to restore your iPhone via iTunes.

Give these steps a try:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

I recommend setting your device up as a new iPhone to see if the error persists, then restoring your backup as directed below to test again:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

Good luck!
