Keynote and video linking

Is there a way to, hyperlink, a large video on keynote presentation thats saved on my usb drive and then play automatically as I take my presentation everywhere?

  1. create the presentation in Keynote - without the video
  2. copy the video file on the external USB drive (you should use a USB 3 drive so that it is fast enough to run the video)
  3. drag and drop the video (from the USB drive) on to the Navigator in Keynote
  4. go to Keynote Preferences and make the following setting: Keynote > Preferences > General tab > at Saving; deselect the option: Copy Audio and Movies into Document


Note that the link to the video file will be lost, if you rename, move or copy either the Keynote file or the video file.
