Disabled iPhone 7 / No data losing

Hi, I had my own iPhone 7 disabled after putting a wrong code several times. I went to the Apple Store and the only solution they gave me was to restore it. The problem is that I don’t have a recent backup in iTunes (last one was 1 year ago) and I really need to save or have access to all the pictures I had in it. Please help, i am sure it should be another way to access to my data. As long as I can save my pictures, I don't mind having to erase all what is in it after. So my question is, if you know any method to save the gallery of iPhone disabled, or even recuperate the gallery after restoring it, I would appreciate you let me know. Thank you in advance !

No, sorry, not to my knowledge.

These are the steps to follow in such a situation (to re-enable your device):

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

Before doing that procedure, did you enabled iCloud Photos? Should be this case, pictures are on iCloud (access via computer www.icloud.com), and use this support guide to archive your pictures on your computer:

Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud - Apple Support

Shouldn't be this case, you can try, at you own risk, to investigate if a 3rd party repairer can extract photos from your iphone (but often it's a waste of time and money). Be careful.

Regards and best of luck

The slightest possible chance is to connect with iTunes and try backing up.

Above suggestion won't work if:

  1. You have restarted your iPhone after last sync with iTunes.
  2. If you have restarted your PC on which you have synced your iPhone with iTunes.

Your only hope is if you have enabled iCloud to backup your photos automatically. In that case, start your iPhone and let it connect to known Wifi and take a backup. That's a blind shot.

Apart from this, there's is literally no way to recover any sort of data from a disabled iPhone device.
