Does Dynamic Wallpaper use extra system resources?

The dynamic wallpaper is great! But, does it cost more in the way of system resources than a static wallpaper would? The dynamic wallpaper changes to imitate time of day and that implies that a timer is involved. I'm just concerned about the battery life taking a hit on my MacBook Pro 2017.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

Now that you mention it, you're probably right. There are all sorts of timers running (screen saver, email server queries, etc.). I should just avoid worrying about this type of thing and enjoy my laptop. Thank you!
