Mojave: How do I Use Lip Syncing?

Lip Syncing:

When I’m watching, say a YouTube video, or using QuickTime, the audio might be off by a few seconds. On iTunes, home videos have the same issue.

My only workaround, thus far, is to use a projector. It, I don’t always have a projector. Is there Mojave-compatible software to use?

It’s obviously the file I’m playing, because it occurs on all media players alike, and on another Mac or a PC.

Where do I find the settings in Mojave to fix this?

Nope -- Security This-or-That Software, except for Malwarebytes for Mac (like you mentioned). It has 32GB of Ram, and 1TB of SSD Storage Capacity.

Purchased items play like they should on iTunes. DVDs play like they should from my external USB-A Apple Superdrive.

YouTube, I could understand. Especially while streaming live, with hundreds of people listing in.

But, home videos, are the same everywhere.

So, I'm just thinking that Lip Syncing is an issue with the file (though, maybe not). Is there software would fix this, for when need be. I don't have cable TV (Just Internet), so I'm streaming live on YouTube, while thousands of people watching, elsewhere.

I am with Leroy. Something between you and the source of the streaming content is interfering with the A/V synchronization, and it is probably out of your control to detect or fix — until the problem is resolved by those that own it. You could be on a busy cable Internet segment, or if DSL, congestion at the provider switch.

Another speed test tool that uses pure HTML5 and not Adobe Flash is speed of me. The only button that you push on that site says, "Start Test… ."

Yes, because lip-sync is a built-in spec of the projector. Un-sync it, and the Lip-Sync issue is there on the Mac. My Mac and AppleTV always have this trouble with YouTube.

The 2005 projector is fixing all of this, and it always has via Lip-Sync.

I'm using my 2002 Casio Camera for the home videos, and this a new issue. My iPhone recordings are right on. Casio won't give me a hand, being so old of a device.

On YouTube, the live streaming issue is when Lip-Syncing is an issue. But later the next day, and all is good.

So, in all it has to be the ISP or the Servers.

I'll stick with the projector, as that is the only workaround, if not live software is available to use on my Mac.
