Spam email and concerned

I’ve received an email claiming my Apple ID has been disabled. I’m a little concerned because the address to unlock it seems legit but it asking me to verify my all my info including my social security number.

I haven’t answered any of that... however I did enter my Apple ID, password and phone number.

I stopped at the rest.


Can you tell me if I’ve been hacked into

It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.

That is a phishing scam. Apple doesn't send email to notify you if your Apple ID is disabled; they notify you by an onscreen alert when you are logging in. More information about phishing: Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support


Since you gave them your password, you may want to change that. See:
