airpods won’t reset (solid green blink)

I have been trying to connect my AirPods to my phone for a while now,

when trying to reset the AirPods don’t go white they just stay a solid green colour and the after a few seconds The light goes off, when I take my finger off the button the green like comes back on?

i haven’t seen anyone else have this problem would be great to get some help
