Siri Apple Watch series 4

Can some help me understand whether Siri used in apple watch series 4 is different from the one used in iPhone 7 plus. I ask Siri in Apple Watch what time does nearest YMCA closes, it kept searching after the prompt and eventually the it timed out. I asked same question to Siri in iPhone 7 plus and it gave me options to pick which YMCA I was interested in. I am wondering are there two versions of Siri?

Siri is Siri, regardless of device. What can change however, is the devices ability to access the network. If the watch wasn't near your phone or not connected to Wifi when you asked the question, there would be no way for Siri to look up the answer and provide a response. If your watch is cellular, if you look at the top of the watch, you may see a red x in the top center of the screen. This would indicate the watch is not connected to a cellular or Wifi network.
