Apple Podcasts keeps deleting my Listening Queue. Any Idea Why or how to Avoid it?

Several times, when I open the App back up, the Application has deleted all of my queued podcasts. In addition, the podcast that's open is usually a podcast I've listened to and finished a while ago. This is really frustrating; I usually have a good number podcasts queued, frequently a long series of episodes from an different podcasts I'm catching up on, that takes a while to put together each time.

This happened several times last year, then it stopped happening, and now it’s happened three times in the last week. Sometimes, if I close the app before listening to anything and then reopen the app, the queue comes back for some reason.

Any ideas why or how to avoid it? It’s maddening!
