Missed calls not showing

My missed calls are not showing up in my Notification Center. I can open my phone after hours of not using it and i never know i had a missed call unless i actually tap on the phone app icon. I’m currently using the latest iOS update, I’ve already restarted my phone multiple times, and my notifications are switched to green, so it’s not that. Hopefully you guys can get this fixed soon bc it’s pretty irritating.

iPhone XS Max, iOS 12

Only if i were in my car for my phone to connect to my car’s Bluetooth. Even then, my phone would ring through my car so i wouldn’t miss a call while I’m in there. The issue I’m having is basically while I’m home throughout the night until i wake up, when i pick up my phone i have no missed call notifications, i don’t even have the red circle icon on the phone app to show how many missed calls i have. The only way i know is if i get a text from someone saying they’ve been calling or if i get ready to call someone and i go into the phone app; then, i see that i have missed calls because the names and numbers are in red. I appreciate you trying to help, but this seems to be something that is out of my control. I have the iPhone XMax and i know a few other people that this is happening to as well, so i know it isn’t just me because until a few weeks ago i didn’t have this problem this started on its own and i haven’t changed any of my notification settings since then.

My missed calls are not showing up in my Notification Center.

Mine show up there. (iPhone XS; iOS 12.1.4)

my notifications are switched to green ...

I'm not sure what this means, but you should check all the following in Settings > Notifications > Phone:

  • "Allow Notifications" is "On"
  • All three are checked:
    • Lock Screen
    • Notification Center
    • Banners
  • "Banner Style" is "Persistent"

Thanks a lot for attaching a screenshot.

The difference between your screen and mine is that you have CarPlay, and I do not.

Might that be involved? Might your iPhone be attached to your CarPlay system and that interfering with the notifications?
