One day I'll customize and upgrade a PowerBook G3 Pismo, and that means swapping Keys between the Titanium PowerBook G4 keyboard and the G3 Pismo keyboard. Is this key-swapping attempt possible?

Sorry to be late to the party. This forum area would not load for a while today. It's been a long time since I messed with either model so forgive me if I'm not completely remembering the details.
The way the boards attach are quite similar, with one lock screw and two latches, but images on some repair sites suggest that the ribbon cable connector on the Titanium is almost twice as wide as that for the Pismo, so there may be many more wires.
I cannot find the dimensions of the two boards. Obviously, fit is a prime consideration.
Searching the web for "mac mods" will get you to sites that specialize in custom configs and part swapping. They may be more useful.
Excuse me! I saw "keys" and thought "keyboards." I've not pulled keycaps form either model in my PowerBook days so I don't know.
However, my suggestion to search the web for "mac mods" stands.
I don't believe the keycaps are compatible, but it has been an extremely long time since I've worked with either laptop. Apple can use multiple vendors to supply the keyboards and the keycaps are usually different between each vendor even for a single model laptop.
Can you swap keys between the PowerBook G3 Pismo and the PowerBook G4 Titanium?
